Weather & umbrella Policy

We will remain open on most rainy days. In the event we must close the park entirely (for the entire day) due to severe inclement weather such as heavy rains, wind, or lightning, we will issue all ticket holders a ‘rain check’ ticket to be redeemed on any future date of choice.

Being close to the Gulf of Mexico we experience unusually high winds. If the wind reaches and exceeds 14mph, umbrellas and some water activities will be suspended for use for safety reasons.

Reservable Amenities & Water Activities

Once reservable seating such as cabanas are sold out online, it means we are sold out for that day. Tickets for these items will be subject to availability onsite on the day of your visit. We strongly recommend reserving in advance.

If water activities are sold out on the day of your reservation, they are indeed sold out. Additional time slots will not be available for purchase onsite. We strongly recommend reserving in advance.

If you are unable to meet your reserved time, we will do our best to fit you in the schedule depending on availability.

Activities will not be refunded on the day of or after your scheduled reservation.

Service animals: Under Texas law and the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), people with disabilities may bring their service animals to all public accommodations. Upon entry, patrons with service animals may be asked what service the animal was trained to provide. Please note, entry does not mean access to the water. No service animal will be allowed inside the lagoon. No exceptions. While on premises, all owners are required to maintain control and clean-up after their service animals at all times. If the service animal is disruptive or not under control, their owner will be asked to be removed from the premises. The tasks or work the animal does must be directly related to the person’s disability.
